Agriculture Extension Service “Sombor” registrated as a Extension Service in 1956. We own the chemistry, seed and phyto lab. Working certification seed  and control of seed production. Also, service advisory  where have licensed advisors. Agriculture Extension Service  is the seat Regional Center PIS (Sombor, Apatin and Odžaci). We have experimental trial (100 ha) where examine for the State Commission for the Recognition of Varieties and Hybrids (VCU test and DUS test ), micro and macro experiments on vegetables. We have educational center  for the education of farmers. For variety testing and other experiments have protected area greenhouse. Agriculture Extension Service „Sombor“  in collaboration with the agricultural cooperative ZZ “Agrodunav” Karavukovo make experimental orchard with cherries. Realization of the project of the Provincial secretariat from 2010, an orchard was built in 2012 years. It was built 1 hectare of cherries (3 varieties ) with complete equipment, poles, anti-hail nets and irrigation. A combination of modern technology and agricultural tradition has created a brand  “Dobro Drvo”.
