The Elektromreža Srbije joint stock company is a national transmission system operator in the Republic of Serbia. It provides safe and reliable transmission of electricity throughout Serbia, and is in charge of more than ten thousand kilometers of high-voltage transmission lines, as well as over 40 substations and switching stations. EMS JSC is responsible for the efficient management of the transmission system, which is interconnected to the power systems of other countries, and it’s a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators.
