Invetlab, the spinout company of Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering (IMGGE), University of Belgrade, was founded in October 2015, as a result of the “Serbia Innovation Project” with the aim of commercialization of innovative probiotic for animals.

Invetlab has two license agreements with IMGGE for commercialization of innovative probiotic for animals (protected by national and PCT patent) and starter cultures for the dairy industry.

Products: HIRAVET and HIRAPET are innovative probiotics for prevention and treatment of intestinal infections in animals containing a unique carefully balanced combination of three probiotic bacteria Streptococcus thermophilus BGVLJ1-44, Lactobacillus fermentum BGHI14 and Lactobacillus helveticus BGRA43.
Innovative probiotic starter cultures for production of Balkan autochthonous dairy products – yogurt, cheeses and sour cream.

Production capacities: Invetlab has a HACCP validated production plant for production of innovative probiotic for animals (licensed by IMGGE and protected by national and PCT patent).

Export markets: We are looking for local and global companies and distributors for production and distribution of innovative dairy products based on our starter cultures, including yogurt, cheeses and sour cream.
