Jaroslav Černi Water Institute is a leading consulting and scientific research organization in the water sector in Serbia. We provide services in research, design, engineering, consulting, scientific research and studies in the fields of dams and reservoirs, hydropower, water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment, irrigation and drainage, flood protection, water protection and management, water problem solving for mines and infrastructure facilities and projects.

• Staff: More than half from 240 employees hold advanced degrees from highly acclaimed educational institutions with a significant number also being distinguished researchers and associate professors.
• Laboratories: Laboratory “Jaroslav Černi” – sampling and physico-chemical and microbiological testing of water, sediments and soil; Hydraulic laboratory – unique tests on physical models in the country and the region.
• Software: State-of-the-art software used in the field of water research and management, some of which, for the purpose of solving specific problems, have been developed at the Institute itself.
