PUC “Waterworks and Sewerage” manages the water supply and sewerage system of the City of Novi Sad. The water supply system supplies about 350,000 inhabitants and consists of three groundwater sources, a water treatment plant Štrand with a capacity of 1,500 l/s, distribution facilities and a distribution network. The sewerage system is mostly combined – wastewater and storm water. It consists of sewerage network, collectors and pumping stations. It is planned to build a Central WWTP for 400 ES.
