The Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade is a public urban company founded by the City of Belgrade for the needs of performing professional activities and all activities in the field of urban and spatial planning of special importance for the construction and arrangement of the City of Belgrade. For more than 70 years, we have been dedicated to our City and we are honored by the trust that the City of Belgrade has shown us all these years.

In accordance with the complex nature and needs of urban planning activity, the Urban Institute today is consisted out of a total of 140 employees and out of those employees has over 100 experts of various profiles.

The main activity of the institute is the preparation of planning documents (spatial and urban plans)

preparation of urban-technical documents (urban projects), development of strategic studies as a basis for decision-making on the development of Belgrade making strategic assessments and environmental impact assessments maintenance of the urban database for the city of Belgrade.
